The 'Mrs G' team has returned from EK RepFest this weekend clutching two lovely bits of silverware: our production was placed second overall in the festival and Sarah Walker won Best Actress.
Our toughest competition proved to be EK Rep Theatre itself, with their 'Bouncers' taking first place and the all-male cast jointly winning Best Actor. Whiting Bay Drama Club finished in third place, with ‘Nunquam Non Paratus’ and Accent Players won Best Staging for ‘Grave Prospects’.
It was a pleasure to be part of this festival once again, with its relaxed atmosphere, super-friendly staff and lovely theatre, and FADS will doubtless be entering again next year.
