In summer 2025 we had another successful members' summer BBQ at the Fintry Hub, followed by our first Karaoke Night in the hall, which the club youth and junior members particularly enjoyed!

An afternoon get-together in the recently-renovated Fintry Hub, with May Anderson once again kindly putting her culinary skills front and centre....before breaking out the flute for a few musical numbers alongside Andy Barr on his trusty guitar!
BURNS QUIZ NIGHT

Not just a quiz, expertly crafted and MC'd by David Smith - there was musical entertainment, poetry and a fully-interactive rendition of 'Tam O'Shanter', led beautifully by Jackie Smith. Throw in an address to the haggis by a knife-wielding Paul Anderson, tunes from Andy Barr and his guitar and great catering once again from May Anderson and you have yourself a Classic FADS Night! 🥳
TRIP TO ORKNEY
Thurs 16th to Sun 19th May, 2019
Nine FADS delegates, along with five Young Farmers and two canine tour mascots (Bess & Meg) took 'Mrs G' and the SSSYFC's play 'Strictly Sex Factor On Ice' up to Orkney, playing at Birsay Village Hall and the Orkney Theatre in Kirkwall.
The plays were one part of the trip, but the socialising with our friends from Birsay Drama Club was just as important and we enjoyed a fantastic weekend of Orcadian hospitality!
BIG ASS WITH BIRSAY

A truly epic social evening with our Orcadian friends from Birsay Drama Club, who travelled over 300 miles to perform two of their one-act plays in Fintry. Food, drink and a veritable buffet of party pieces, from Yoga Farts to clog dancing to showtunes. Oodles of fun!
