New year, new Committee - and panto planning in full swing!

A big thanks to everyone who came along to the AGM last week to help elect our new committee and get some plans in place for 2026/27.

Gavin, Ellen and Rosie stepped down after two years, as did our Secretary, Helen. Siobhan has now taken on the role of Secretary, and we've been joined by Chris, Louise and Gerry.

Membership

With our financial year running from 1st May to 30th April, membership fees are now due. We've had to make a slight increase this year, in light of increasing costs for our facilities, so the adult fee is now £30, secondary school (up to 17) and students £10, and primary school (aged 10+) £5.

Panto

Finally, we have just had our second production team meeting for this year's panto, Sleeping Beauty 💞. Yes, we know spring has barely arrived, but this is a huge undertaking and there are an awf'y lot of ducks that need herding into rows! We'll be holding auditions in August and if you want to put the show dates in your diary, it's the usual last weekend in Nov / first weekend in Dec,

Thurs 26th to Sat 28th Nov & Thurs 3rd to Sat 5th Dec

6 x evening shows and 2 x Saturday matinees
