What an epic Cinderella run! A big thank you to everyone who came along to watch the show and support us - the feedback has been amazing. Panto isn't panto without audience participation, and you did us proud 🤪🍬😁
The production is a real team effort, and this show wouldn't have been what it was without a lot of hard work from some very talented and dedicated people, both on stage and behind the scenes.
I'd like to particularly thank the creative team department heads ~
Lorna, who always designs the set brilliantly and crafts the vast majority of the props herself – such an inventive mind!
Ellen, for leading a wonderful costume team in putting together multiple spot-on outfits for a cast of 30, a herculean task.
Pam, for driving the artistic make-up team bus and creating some truly "stunning" Ugly Sisters 🤣
Chris, for his fabulous lighting and co-ordination of the tech, about which he seems to have limitless knowledge (good job – most of the rest of us are clueless!)
Heather, for her super choreography and mastery at keeping everyone moving in the right direction (while rolling her eyes at the odd inevitable contra-flow 😂)
Margo, for putting together the music, coaching the cast and tweaking keys by semitones to match vocal ranges (much to the “delight” of Gavin at Studio 1790!)
Louise, for co-ordinating the stage management flawlessly - and keeping the cast far too well topped up with delicious baking 🤤
Mhairi, for herding cats and keeping things under control in the Green Room 🤪
Jane, who runs every aspect of Front of House with military precision – 100% reliable and unflappable, and I have no idea how she does it 💖
Finally, the biggest thank you goes to Gavin, who wrote and directed this incredible panto. With his excellent script and clear creative vision, Cinderella was always going to be a firework 💘

Our next production will be ‘The Fairmer Wants a Wife’ – a full-length Scottish comedy, April 29th to May 2nd. Pop the dates in your diary and we’ll let you know when tickets are going on sale.
Have a very merry Christmas and a fab Hogmanay – see you in 2026!

(Signing off as...) Producer, Cinderella
It’s been a blast.
