Membership fees for 2025/6 now due

At the AGM last month, it was agreed that the Adult membership fee would increase from £20 to £25 for this financial year (Junior membership remains at £5 and Primary at £1). This is to reflect the Sports Club having increased its Social Membership fee to £20 as of September 2024.

As most of you already know, FADS pays £20 per Adult member to the Sports Club, which gives you Social Membership and covers our continued use of part of the building for our costume and props storage.

Your social membership card can be collected from the bar at the Sports Club on your next visit. 

If you’d like to continue your membership, or you've been a member in the last 5 years, you can simply make payment to:

Dates for your diary...

Play reading evenings

Over the summer months, we try to get together every couple of weeks to read plays - some that we're considering performing and some just for fun.

This July, we'll be meeting at 7.30pm on Weds 2nd, Weds 16th and Weds 30th.                

This is open to all members - please contact chair@fintrydrama.org.uk if you'd like to be added to the play reading WhatsApp group.

PANTO 2025

This year FADS will be performing "CINDERELLA", written and directed by Gavin Paterson.

Tues 26 Aug                      Auditions 7pm in Menzies Hall, Fintry

Tues   9 Sept                     Rehearsals commence

27-29 Nov/4-6 Dec          Performances Thurs/Fri/Sat evenings plus Sat matinees.

SPRING PRODUCTION

We're proposing to stage the full-length play, "The Fairmer Wants A Wife", by Alan Cochrane, in the first week of May 2026. Rehearsals would begin in January 2026.

We'll be sending out further details on all the above in due course. If you'd like to be involved in Cinderella or The Fairmer..., please just check for now that you can make the dates!
