AGM, Membership & More Memories!

Updated: May 8

As we shivver with anticipation at finally breaking free of lockdown on the 26th, we've got three important updates for you:

AGM 2021

Although it's only 6 months since our last AGM, we're getting back on track with the usual annual schedule and restoring it to its rightful place in May!

With social distancing restrictions still in place, we'll be holding this year's AGM via Zoom again: on Thursday 13th May at 7:30pm.

Here is the Agenda (with Zoom link) and all relevant accompanying documents - just click to open and download:

Whether you're a current or former Member, friend of the Club or just interested in finding out where FADS is at the moment, we look forward to welcoming you, so pop the date in your diary!

Membership 2021-22

Our financial year ends on 30th April, so FADS Membership renewals are due on 1st May.

Although we've been doing our very best to keep Members engaged over the last 12 months, we realise it's not the same when we can't meet in person for rehearsals in the Hall and social events. That's been reflected in far lower than usual membership numbers over the last year - just 35 adult members.

Throughout the time that we can't put on productions for audiences, membership fees are the Club's only income and we do still have outgoings, such as Sports Club fees, insurance, tech provider fees and our current Roaches Coaches podcast production costs. Fortunately, we have sufficient reserves to keep going for now, but we really would appreciate as much support as possible via your membership for the coming year, when we hope to be back on stage for our ever-popular Panto and other productions!

Just £20 for adults, £5 for juniors (17 and under) and £1 for primary school children.

And finally...

FADS: The Millennial Years!

Following the great success of the first retrospective evening, looking at production photos and videos from the late seventies to the mid-nineties, Tony has been beavering away on the second installation for us.

FADS: The Millennial Years, covering the late nineties and the noughties, will be taking place on Thursday 22nd April, kicking off at 7:30pm - everyone welcome....the more, the merrier!

Just email retro@fintrydrama.org.uk to request the Zoom link.
