'Mrs G' notches up another win for Mike Tibbetts

Huge congratulations to Mike Tibbetts, who has just been awarded the SCDA Scott Salver Playwriting Competition Award 2019, for ‘Mrs G’, the FADS One Act Play Festival entry. We were the first company to stage the play, giving it its world premiere in Fintry on the 8th of March this year.

This is the fifth time Mike has won the award, which was first presented by SCDA in 1971, and he now shares the record for the most wins. What a great boost for the FADS team, who head off to Edinburgh next week for the Eastern Division Final – let’s do Mike proud!

Presentation of the playwriting award for ‘Mrs G’ will be made at the Scottish Final, on Saturday 27th April, where Ian Turner will collect the prize on Mike’s behalf.
