A reel-y successful night!

There was music and dancing galore last night at the Menzies Hall, and the fundraising ceilidh certainly did its job. Through entry, raffle and Irish Bingo ticket sales, a whopping £1,113 was raised for Heather Stephenson's volunteering trip to South Africa with VESO this summer.

The money will go towards supporting construction work in a village near St Lucia, where Heather will also be teaching English and working on conservation projects, before heading off for a few days' well-earned sightseeing.

All of us at FADS wish Heather a hugely successful trip and look forward to hearing all about it!
