'CALAMITY JANE'
RESCHEDULED, DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.
We hope to be able to stage the musical in March 2021.
Produced by Rowena Laing
Directed by Cindy Gray
The Deadwood Stage is headed for Fintry!
FADS will be whip-cracking away later in the year, with an all-singing, all-dancing production of Calamity Jane – the stage adaptation of the famous Doris Day film.
Set in Deadwood City in the 1800s, we meet Calamity Jane, a sharpshootin’ tomboy, alongside cowboys, townsfolk....and professional gambler, Wild Bill Hickock. A merry romp ensues, with mistaken identities, unrequited love and, of course, a happy ending!
Dust off your cowboy hats, boots and spurs and join us at the Golden Garter Saloon later in the year.....more info as soon as we have it.
