WELCOME TO FADS!
Fintry Amateur Dramatic Society
With around 40 enthusiastic adult members and a raft of talented children from Fintry and many of the surrounding villages (and Glasgow!), the Club is a great mix of ages and experience. Our audiences have grown to expect a high standard of performance, with attention to detail in set design, costumes, make-up, lighting and sound all contributing to the quality of our productions.
We aim to stage something in Fintry each spring and autumn and work to have an entry in the annual SCDA One-Act Play competition – plus a rip-roaring pantomime at the end of every year.
We’re always looking to welcome new members, so either come along to one of our social events or click the button below if you’d like to join us.

Panto 2022: Babes in the Wood
After three long years away, the FADS panto is BACK!!
We now have a cast and rehearsals will begin mid-September, hurrah!
More info to follow soon, but here are the performance dates to pop in your diary:
Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th November
Thursday 1st to Saturday 3rd December
Curtain up every evening at 7.30pm, with an additional matinee performance on both Saturdays at 2pm
A comedy podcast :)
While the coronavirus social distancing restrictions put paid to rehearsing in person, one of our talented members created a three-part radio comedy, 'Roaches Coaches', which has become First Ever FADS Podcast!
The comedy is set in a small-town bus depot, in a magical time before COVID-19 was invented. The business is going through hard times and the hapless staff have to get the buses out despite vandalism, terrorism, extreme feminism and a lack of optimism. Owner/Manager Keith Roache does his best, but he’s always one step behind lazy Jimmy, hopeless Carol, desperate Mags, womaniser Kenny, naïve William and camp Laurence.
