'Mrs G' notches up another win for Mike Tibbetts

Huge congratulations to Mike Tibbetts, who has just been awarded the SCDA Scott Salver Playwriting Competition Award 2019, for ‘Mrs G’, the FADS One Act Play Festival entry. We were the first company to stage the play, giving it its world premiere in Fintry on the 8th of March this year. This is the fifth time Mike has won the award, which was first presented by SCDA in 1971, and he now shares the record for the most wins. What a great boost for the FADS team, who head off to Edinburgh next week for the Eastern Division Final – let’s do Mike proud! If you'd like to come and support the team, you can buy tickets here. Presentation of the playwriting award for ‘Mrs G’ will be made at the Scott

Quiz night: change of venue

Great news: we've now got too many attendees to fit in the bowling club, so have had to relocate the evening to the Menzies Hall! That means we can accommodate lots more people - yay! - so, if you haven't already confirmed your place, pop an email to website@fintrydrama.org.uk . The entry fee is just £2, BYO booze and snacks.....and if you can BYO glasses as well, that will help massively with the clear up :) More info here.

SCDA Eastern Division Final: running order...

Here we go - 'Mrs G' will be hitting the stage last on the middle night (that's third on Friday). Tickets are £12 per night, available online now. Come along and support the FADS team in Edinburgh as they do their very best to get through to the Scottish Final!
