On 13th & 14th July, a FADS youth cast will perform 'The Day the Stampers United', by Sara Shaarawi, as part of the 'Positive Stories for Negative Times' project.
Positive Stories for Negative Times: Season Three is an international participatory project offering organisations who work with young people a process, newly commissioned plays and training by the best theatre artists working in the UK, free of charge.
It is produced by Wonder Fools in association with Traverse Theatre, Ayr Gaiety, Eden Court, Perth Theatre and Youth Theatre Arts Scotland, with plays co-commissioned by Wonder Fools and Traverse Theatre.
Directed and produced by Anna Foran (SCDA award winner and our current chairman), 'The Day the Stampers United' stars Megan Cooper, Emma Foran, Georgie Hewett, Tate Hotchkiss, Naomi Irvine, Hannah Macmillan, Evie Moseley, Zosia Paluch, Luisa Pizey and Ellie Robinson.
The day the stampers united started out like any other day, but change was in the air because the stampers believed that it was time for everyone to move however they want, at whatever pace they want, in whichever direction they want. This is a tale of how collective action begins with solidarity within the community.
